The City of London Guide Lecturers Association was founded in 1983. Its aims are to promote and maintain a high standard of guiding in and lecturing about the City of London.

The Association holds monthly meetings which are addressed by a visiting lecturer, providing a forum for discussion on the history and development of the City, past, present and future, and London in general. The Guide Lecturers also contribute talks on aspects of their own research.
